Founded in 1992 by Kevin Shelton, Shelton Steel began with a humble vision: to provide top-quality steel fabrication with a commitment to excellence and precision. What started as a small, modest operation has grown into a trusted name in the steel industry, serving clients across all 50 states and delivering over 2,500 projects.

In the early 2000s, Shelton Steel faced a devastating setback—a tragic fire consumed everything Kevin had built. In the face of unimaginable loss, Kevin refused to give up. With grit, determination, and a passion for his craft, he rebuilt the company from the ground up. The challenges that could have ended Shelton Steel only served to strengthen it, forging a foundation of resilience and perseverance that defines us today.
From day one, John Burns, our Shop Manager and Chief Fabricator, has worked alongside Kevin to ensure every project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. Their combined leadership and expertise have been instrumental in shaping our success and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
